Source of personal data and Data Controller
This page describes the general methods of processing the personal data of site users and the use of cookies, referring to any specific sections where the site user may find detailed information and, where applicable, specific requests for consent (for individual processing activities). This notice applies only to this website and not to other websites that may be consulted by the user via links. An&Go srl, Data Controller with registered office at Via Archimede 28, 00197 Rome, is committed to protecting the user’s personal information, and this document aims to help you understand what information we may collect and how we use it.
A) Methods of Processing
This document has been prepared pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (hereinafter the “Regulation”) in order to inform you of our privacy policy. It describes the general methods for processing the personal data of users of the website and the use of cookies, as well as how your personal information is managed when you use our website (hereinafter the “Site”).
The information and data you provide, or that are otherwise acquired in the course of using anego’s services — such as access to the reserved area of the Site, newsletters, etc. (hereinafter the “Services”) — will be processed in compliance with the provisions of the Regulation and the confidentiality obligations that guide anego’s activities.
In accordance with the Regulation, the processing carried out by anego will be based on the principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, purpose limitation, storage limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, integrity and confidentiality.
The Data Controller of the processing carried out through the Site is anego, as defined above, to whom you may write for any information regarding the processing of personal data. The Data Protection Officer (hereinafter, the “DPO”) can be contacted at the following address: anego@outlook.it.
This privacy notice applies only to this Site and not to other websites that the user may access through links. Please refer to any specific sections of the Site where you may find detailed information notices and, where applicable, requests for consent relating to individual processing activities.
B) Types of Data
Following your navigation of the Site, please note that anego will process personal data (Art. 4(1) of the Regulation), hereinafter referred to simply as “Personal Data”. In particular, the Personal Data processed through the Site are the following:
-
Browsing Data
The IT systems and software procedures used to operate the Site acquire, during their normal operation, certain Personal Data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified individuals, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.
This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the Site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the server’s response (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and IT environment.
These data are used exclusively for the purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the Site and to verify its correct functioning (see the section on cookies below), to identify anomalies and/or abuses, and are deleted immediately after processing. Data may be used by the competent authorities to establish liability in the event of possible computer crimes against the site.
-
Data Voluntarily Provided by the User
Apart from what is specified for browsing data, the user is free to provide the personal data requested in any forms on the website (e.g. to subscribe to newsletters, register for free, make purchases, etc.). Failure to provide such data may make it impossible to provide the service. In such cases, only the information necessary for the requested service will be collected (see the specific information notices provided).
When using certain Services of the Site, the processing of Personal Data of third parties provided by you to anego may occur. In such cases, you act as the independent Data Controller, assuming all legal obligations and responsibilities. In this regard, you grant the broadest indemnity against any dispute, claim, demand for compensation for damage from processing, etc. that may be made against anego by third parties whose Personal Data have been processed through your use of the Site’s functions in violation of applicable personal data protection laws.
In any case, if you provide or otherwise process Personal Data of third parties while using the Site, you hereby guarantee — assuming all related liability — that such specific processing is based on an appropriate legal basis pursuant to Article 6 of the Regulation, which legitimises the processing of the information in question.
C) Purposes of Processing and Legal Bases
The processing of personal data that we intend to carry out, subject to your specific consent where necessary, has the following purposes:
-
To enable the provision of the Site’s Services.
The legal basis for the processing is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) of the Regulation), since processing is necessary for the provision of the Service. The provision of Personal Data for these purposes is optional, but failure to provide such data would make it impossible to activate the Services provided by the Site.
D) Recipients of Personal Data
Your Personal Data may be shared, for the purposes mentioned above, with:
-
persons authorised by anego to process Personal Data, as necessary to carry out activities strictly related to the provision of Services, who are bound by confidentiality or have an adequate legal confidentiality obligation (e.g. employees and system administrators);
-
third parties possibly engaged in the management of the Site, who typically act as Data Processors (the full and updated list of Data Processors is available at www.anego.it);
-
persons, entities or authorities to whom it is mandatory to communicate your Personal Data by virtue of legal provisions or orders from the authorities.
E) Transfers of Personal Data
Some of your Personal Data may be shared with Recipients located outside the European Economic Area. anego ensures that the processing of your Personal Data by these Recipients is carried out in compliance with the Regulation. Such transfers may be based on an adequacy decision, on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or on another appropriate legal basis.
F) Your Privacy Rights under Articles 15 et seq. of the Regulation
Pursuant to Articles 15 and following of the Regulation, you have the right to request from anego, at any time, access to your Personal Data, their rectification or erasure, or to object to their processing. You also have the right to request the restriction of processing in the cases provided for under Article 18 of the Regulation, as well as to obtain your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, in the cases provided for under Article 20 of the Regulation.
Requests must be made in writing to the Data Controller at the following address: anego@outlook.it or to the Data Protection Officer (DPO) at the following address: anego@outlook.it.
In any case, you always have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent Supervisory Authority (the Italian Data Protection Authority – Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali), pursuant to Article 77 of the Regulation, if you believe that the processing of your Personal Data is contrary to the applicable law.
G) Changes
This privacy policy has been in effect since 23/05/2018. anego reserves the right to amend or simply update its content, in whole or in part, also due to changes in the applicable legislation. anego will inform you of such changes as soon as they are introduced, and they will become binding as soon as they are published on the Site. We therefore invite you to regularly visit this section in order to be aware of the most recent and updated version of the privacy policy, so that you are always informed about the data collected and how anego uses it.
2. COOKIE POLICY
Definitions, characteristics and application of the law
Cookies are small text files that websites visited by the user send and store on their computer or mobile device, to be retransmitted to the same sites on the user’s next visit. Thanks to cookies, a website remembers the user’s actions and preferences (such as login data, chosen language, font size, other display settings, etc.) so that they do not need to be re-entered when the user returns to the site or navigates from one page to another.
Cookies are therefore used to carry out computer authentication, session monitoring, and the storage of information regarding the activities of users accessing a site. They may also contain a unique identification code that makes it possible to track the user’s navigation within the site itself for statistical or advertising purposes. While browsing a site, the user may also receive cookies from websites or web servers other than the one being visited (so-called “third-party cookies”). Some operations could not be performed without the use of cookies, which in certain cases are therefore technically necessary for the very functioning of the site.
There are various types of cookies, depending on their characteristics and functions, and these may remain on the user’s computer for different periods of time:
-
session cookies, which are automatically deleted when the browser is closed;
-
persistent cookies, which remain on the user’s device until a predetermined expiry date.
Under current Italian legislation, the use of cookies does not always require the user’s express consent. In particular, “technical cookies” do not require such consent, i.e. those used solely for the purpose of transmitting a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user. In other words, these are indispensable cookies for the operation of the site or necessary to carry out activities requested by the user.
Among the technical cookies that do not require express consent for their use, the Italian Data Protection Authority (see the Simplified Arrangements to Provide Information and Obtain Consent Regarding Cookies of 8 May 2014, and subsequent clarifications, hereinafter the “Measure”) also includes:
-
“analytics cookies”, where used directly by the site operator to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and on how they visit the site itself;
-
browsing or session cookies (for authentication purposes);
-
functionality cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a set of selected criteria (for example, language, products chosen for purchase) in order to improve the service provided to the user.
For “profiling cookies”, on the other hand — that is, those aimed at creating user profiles and used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user while browsing the web — the user’s prior consent is required.
Types of cookies used
We have classified the cookies we use according to their purpose of use into:
-
Technical cookies:
-
browsing or session
-
functionality
-
analytics
-
-
Third-party cookies
TECHNICAL COOKIES
BROWSING OR SESSION COOKIES
These cookies allow normal use of the site and the services available, such as making a purchase, logging in to access restricted areas, or maintaining personal preferences. These cookies can be distinguished according to their persistence on the user’s device: those that are automatically deleted at the end of each browsing session are called “session cookies” (e.g. an online shopping cart). If, on the other hand, they have a longer lifespan, they are referred to as “persistent cookies”. These cookies are essential for the proper functioning of the site and do not require the user’s prior consent for installation.
FUNCTIONALITY COOKIES
We use these cookies to provide services or remember your settings, in order to improve your visit and browsing experience on our site. Thanks to them, we are able to manage navigation based on selected products and/or manage the Wishlist. These cookies do not require the user’s prior consent for installation.
ANALYTICS COOKIES
These cookies collect, anonymously, information on how our website is used and allow us to better understand our users and improve the functioning of the site itself. Analytics cookies are considered equivalent to technical cookies when used directly by the site operator to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site. These cookies do not require the user’s prior consent for installation.
THIRD-PARTY COOKIES
“Third-party” cookies are linked to services provided by third parties: they are used for various purposes such as analysing the performance of marketing campaigns and/or delivering personalised advertising on our site and on partner websites. This activity, known as retargeting, is based on browsing activities, such as the destination searched, the facilities viewed, and more.
The third party provides these services in exchange for information regarding the user’s visit to our site. Third-party cookie providers are also required to comply with applicable legislation. For this reason, we refer you to the links of the third-party websites, where the user can find the cookie consent collection forms and the relevant information notices.
Social Plugins
These “social buttons” are visible on our website to enable content sharing via social networks, including Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Google Plus. Cookies are placed by these platforms on our site, allowing them to collect information about your browsing.

Web Beacons
Web beacons are tiny invisible images used by anego in its newsletters. These images allow statistical information to be collected about newsletter usage and enable anego to improve this service. If you wish to prevent such statistical information from being collected, you need to disable HTML in your email system so that anego newsletters are read only as text. All newsletters sent by anego also contain a link that allows you to unsubscribe from receiving them.
Your cookie choices
You can choose a setting whereby your computer notifies you each time a cookie is set, or you can decide to disable all cookies. You can select these options through your browser settings. Since each browser is slightly different, we invite you to check the “Help” menu of your browser to find the most accurate way to adjust your cookie settings. If you decide to disable cookies, you will not have access to many functions that make your experience on our site more efficient, and some of our services may not function properly.
